Dr Abiye Hector-Goma joins AB Informatics as Clinical Advisor

AB Informatics, an African Health Systems and Clinic Solutions provider  that offers  innovative end-to-end  electronic  platforms  for clinics and large hospital management, today announced that  Dr Hector Goma ( BmedSc, MBBS, MSC, MRCGP, DFRSH)  has joined  AB Informatics Board of Directors.  Steve Magare,  Director of  AB Informatics, East Africa operations, expressed his delight in having Dr Abiye Hector-Goma. He said “it’s a step in the direction to  assure our customers and partners that  AB Informatics is determined   to ensure that we only bring quality products that are  suitable and adaptable to the African environment.”
Hector Goma’s Background
Dr Hector-Abiye Goma is a General Medical Practitioner with in-depth experience in primary care and inter-sectoral collaborations for health having worked in the public, private, voluntary and community sectors over the last 21 years. He is the Director of Kayhector Consulting and Medicals Health Group, set up to increase awareness about healthy lifestyle, disease prevention and acts as a signpost for evidence-based practise.
He is a graduate of The University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and a British Chevening Scholar at Leeds Metropolitan University where he obtained a Masters in Health Promotion, and later worked with Heart Research UK to establish a strategy for lifestyle interventions.
As a professional, he provides support services for professional colleagues in the diaspora wishing to collaborate with partner organisations and institutions in Sub-Saharan African to improve health and social services.
